10-YEAR-OLD GIVES BIRTH TO STEPFATHER’S BABY, MAN ARRESTED

A 5th grade girl who had been complaining of an upset stomach got the shock of her life when she was rushed to a hospital where doctors told her that she was pregnant and in active labor.According to the girl’s teacher and mother, the 10-year-old girl had a terrible stomachache but they had no idea that the girl was expecting due to her small frame.

“The mother alleges that she, along with other family members, hadn’t noticed, taking into consideration the child’s small frame,” a police spokesperson said.

After giving birth to a healthy baby, the girl revealed that her stepfather had been abusing her and that she hadn’t come forward because he threatened to kill her mother and brother if she ever told anyone.

The girl’s stepfather was arrested and confessed to raping the girl. He was charged with rape of a child and illegal possession of firearms.
