EIFFEL TOWER CLOSED “UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE” AS ISLAMIC STATE GROUP THREATENS NEW ATTACKS

The Eiffel Tower in Paris, one of the world’s most popular landmarks, has been closed after the Friday terrorist attacks claiming 127 lives an wounding hundreds.The Islamic State Terror Group, which claimed responsibility for the brutal attacks, called them “the first of the storm”, threatening to carry out more violence against the people of France.

Along with the Eiffel Tower, several other tourist landmarks such as museums, universities and libraries have been ordered closed until further notice by Mayor Anne Hidalgo and other French officials.

France is in a national state of emergency after the attacks and its borders have been closed.
