Martins Placed 6th In Top 20 Best-Selling MLS Jerseys For 2015

Estranged Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins has been placed in sixth position in the list of top best-selling Major League Soccer (MLS) jerseys for 2015 that was released recently.




For the second year in a row, Seattle Sounders forward, Clint Dempsey tops the list of MLS jerseys sold on MLSstore.com. He is joined on the list by fellow Sounders forward Obafemi Martins, who comes in at No. 6.

Five regular members of the U.S. national team made the list of the league’s top 20 jerseys, and 12 players on the list are Designated Players, including the LA Galaxy’s Steven Gerrard, Orlando City’s Kaká and New York City FC duo Andrea Pirlo and David Villa.

Dempsey, LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane and Sporting Kansas City midfielder Graham Zusi are the only three players to make the list each of the past two seasons. Obagoal has scored 16 goals for the Rave Green in the MLS 2015/16 season in the United States.
